Use of Facilities by Non-UMD User for Research-Related Purposes:
UMD researchers, including students, have access to a wide array of research facilities. Occasionally a faculty start-up or another non-UMD individual or entity requires short-term use of UMD’s research facilities to support UMD’s research and educational efforts. UMD’s Policy on Use of University Facilities by Non-University Users for Research- Related Activities (see link below) provides guidance on how external individuals and entities may request access to and use of UMD research facilities including incubator space. Please note that a Facility Use License Agreement is required to access and use these facilities, unless the non-UMD user has a Visiting Researcher appointment. Any such use must be reviewed and approved in accordance with UMD policies and procedures. Learn More
