1. My unit wants to host an event with a food truck on campus, what is the process and who do I contact?
To host a food truck on campus, please follow the below steps: a. Please contact Dining Services for a Right of Entry Form. You will need the following information to complete the fillable form for the Right of Entry Agreement (ROE): i. exact date and time ii. Location of the event (make sure this space is available for the date and time) iii. Name of Vendor(s) iv. Menu of the Vendor(s) (as a reminder each Vendor must comply with the Pepsi Pouring Rights Agreement)
b. In addition to the ROE, the following is necessary: i. The Vendor(s) must be registered and in good standing with the State, please visit the SDAT website to confirm the Vendor(s)’ status ii. The Vendor(s) must provide sufficient insurance (as described in the ROE Form) and name "State of Maryland, University System of Maryland, University of Maryland, College Park and their respective officers, directors, employees, staff, and agents" as an additional insured iii. The Vendor(s) must have their food truck inspected by the Fire Marshal iv. The Vendor(s) must provide a copy of their Prince George's County Food Service Permit
2. My unit would like to rent space for an event?

3. I am a professor with a company formed to conduct research and development. How do I rent space within a university facility?
The University of Maryland Policy on the Use of University Facilities by External Users for Research-Related Activities controls the licensing of space from the University to a non-research entity. Before you can rent space, you will need to go through the Facility Use Application (FUA) 23 process.
Please contact Alla McCoy at acmccoy@umd.edu to begin the FUA process. If the FUA is approved, then a one-year term license will be granted.
4. Who do I contact regarding environmental matters (e.g. storage and use of chemicals, disposal of hazardous waste or materials, etc.) in University buildings or on University land?

5. Who does my unit contact to lease office space at off-campus site(s)?
Please contact the Leasing and Asset Manager in the University’s Real Estate Office at realestate@umd.edu
