Working with the Office of Real Estate, and other units of the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD), OGC supports clients in their real property matters relating to the ownership, construction, leasing, licensing and the use of UMD property and facilities. Projects include land acquisitions and dispositions, P3s and capital projects, easements, space leases and licenses, right of entries, environmental and various other matters.

Division of Research:
UMD follows certain procedures for the temporary use of UMD facilities for research purposes. (See UMD policy on "Use of University Facilities by Non-University Users for Research-Related Activities"). This UMD policy provides guidance on how external individuals and entities may request access to and use of UMD research facilities, including incubator space. Please note that a Facility Use License Agreement is required to access and use these facilities, unless the non-UMD user has a Visiting Researcher appointment. Any such use must be reviewed and approved in accordance with UMD policies and procedures.
